Thanks for the reply Jerry, that's some serious RWHP for the G8. I'm sure he loves the car.

Re: 01 Century A/C Problem
Thanks for all the replies everyone.
The best bet is to put UV Dye in the system and have it charged, and then look for the leak a day or two later with a black light. I noticed the UV Dye is not expensive, but will any black light work?
My bet would be on the condensor. It's a common place ...

Re: 01 Century A/C Problem
Just an update,
The a/c was recharged and worked great to about 40 degrees F but after 4 days it stopped working and the clutch no longer engages. This give me the impression that there is a leak in the system which I don't know where to start to repair. A/C repairs in Canada are expensive so it ...

01 Century A/C Problem
The a/c has always been cold up until this year for the 01 Buick Century 3.1. There is absolutly no cold air coming from the vents and the a/c compressor doesn't engage or cycle. I'm not sure where the relay is but I was thinking of putting the Harbor Frieght a/c gauges on and seeing if there was ...

Re: It's that time.
Hello Jr.
We already have a Buick Century but I'm sure she'd be open to other types of Buick's.
EDIT:
I'm going to take a look at a car tomorrow, it has everything Cathy wants althought it's about 5" longer then her Vigor. Will update on Friday.

Re: It's that time.
Thanks for chiming in Mr. Jrs3800.
Cathy has given me her wish list which is basically everything the Acura Vigor has which includes;
Heated seats,
Heated outside side view mirrors,
Sunroof
Leather seats,
Power seats.
Comfortable and smooth riding.
4 door,
Pass through from rear seat to trunk ...

Re: It's that time.
Just an update for those interested:
I drove the Bonneville to the east end of Toronto couple weeks ago to another Bonneville owner, (not on any forum). They mentioned they wanted to restore her, but that remains to be seen. I saved a couple of the used parts as I believe they may come in handy in ...

Re: It's that time.
Ideas of what you're looking for? The Bonneville is being replaced with a 2001 Buick Century and the Vigor is being replaced with what ever Cathy wants.
I hear ya Frank, but hey, didn't you buy that SSEi for $900? I'm sure you put a lot into it, but it's served you a pretty *dang* long time and ...

It's that time.
I don't know if it's a midlife crisis or I just need a change, but I think it's time to change cars. Although Cathy doesn't want to get rid of her Vigor, the a/c hasn't worked in years and she prefers not to go through another summer without a/c so next month the Acura Vigor is gone. As for the 97 ...

Re: Is It Possible to Add HUD?
Just curious folks, when I had the windshield replaced in the SSEi, they asked if it had HUD, I said yes but asked why it mattered. They told me it was a different windshield in that it would be slightly blurry. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

I meant the bodywork as "duds" other than wheels spoiler. I understood what you meant. I was referring more to the full options as " two different memory seat controls, dual heated seats, higher hp the S/C motors offer or GXP, etc. Correct me if the SLE comes with these but there does seem to be a ...
