and still need to detail under there .... BAD!

Forgot to take a pic of the broken front valve cover gasket that wasn't leaking :???: :) and with the valve covers off.
Gonna go paint the original valve covers now as I'm trading them and some cash for an AFPR with guage and remote mount kit.
I'll be installing the AFPR with the ported and wrinkle black SC, machined LIM, and N* TB kit.

Thanks -I've been planning on the black L32 valve covers ever since I first saw black valve covers and a 2004 GTP back at a MN Club GP meet a few years ago. When Will did his it kinda got the ball rolling again for me and today I finally came through.
I am going to take the valve cover bolts back out tomorrow night and polish them so they will match the polished SC snout and SC-->LIM bolts for a more look that's more finished. I also have to install the lower splash shield that goes from the engine cradle to the lower core support, which will help to keep the engine clean longer. I never got one with this car, but discovered the one off my old SLE SC in my dad's garage last Friday so I just have to procure the bolts for that. I really intend on changing the look of the car this summer, at least under the hood and from the rear of the car -finally install the spoiler I bought and had painted when I bought the car two years ago. I also am trying to round up some new kicks and some powerslots.

Looks great, but as an FYI, the stock valve covers are fiberglass. The magic coating won't do anything on them to remove heat.

Aluminum valve covers with the coating will do great.

That being said, I have a set of oem fiberglass VC's that I used as a test set before I did the Zilla's aluminum valve covers with it, and they'll be going on the SLE when it get's it's black supercharger. Hopefully prior to wcbf.

True. Which is why I didn't try to very hard for the wrinkle effect on them although it would have helped with the uniform look once the painted SC is installed.
