My Wife's New Ride ---- Grand Prix 3800 SE

Picked up my wife's new ride today, a '97 Grand Prix SE with a 3800. 35,000 miles on the odo, black with a tan interior, the only options it doesn't have is leather and sunroof. Looks and drives like a brand new car!

I haven't had a chance to clean it up yet. It could use a once-over with a clay bar, and a good waxing. She wanted a GT, but I couldn't pass this one up for the price! She doesn't really care for the tan interior, but she still loves it!

Anyway, here's the pics!

Here's a pic of the wife's GP with my Bonne, she looks a little jealous (and dirty  )

Nice ride! I really like that generation of Grand Prix's (my brother had a GTP of the same year).

Thanks! She likes it too, she's already ordered a bunch of stuff for it off of Ebay.

35000 miles? Wow, good find, that one should treat you well for sometime to come.
Might be worth taking a visit in techinfo in regards to potential dex-cool related issues and intake related issued that would be benifical to you to be taken care of while the mileage is so low.
Looks pretty *dang* nice, im sure its in even better shape in person

IIRC, you couldn't get an SE GP with leather or a sunroof.

10 years old and only 35,000 miles? That's amazing and the car certainly looks it. Great shape.

There is a little bit of surface rust on the rockers, but not much.

if you plan on keeping the car for a while, I would get that taken care of right away. I'm sure you have seen what they look like once they go.
