Cooling fan #2 turn ON temp: _______ °F / turn OFF: _______ °F
Desired Rev Limiter: _______________ RPM (max engine RPM)
Desired Idle Speed in Park/Neutral: _______ RPM Cold / _______ RPM Hot
Desired Idle Speed in Gear (auto) : _______ RPM Cold / _______ RPM Hot
Desired TCC engagement vehicle speed: ___________ MPH (stock or +/- MPH)
Optimize part-throttle shift points for:
â–¡ Performance â–¡ Economy â–¡ Towing â–¡ Leave at Stock Settings

You could lower the Cooling fan temps 15 degrees to match your thermo.
I'd say 6100 for a rev limiter.
Stock idle. Bumping it up is something you do when cammed.
Stock TTC lock up unless you find its constantly going in and out of lockup when you drive normally. Then just bump it up a few mph.
Stock shifts with a 6k WOT shift point.
What about spark and WOT AF?

Here's some of the set points I have. It might be of use to you. If you need anything else just ask and I'll see what I have it set at.

Air/Fuel
If you're not going to have the spark tables and fueling adjusted I would say it's not worth it.

can stock springs with ER rockers take the rev limiter bump to 6100?

set the limiter there
set the shift points no higher than 5800

Agreed.
My 1->2 shift is 5800rpm and my 2->3 shift is still 5900, which I can tell it too high.

I don't see rockers or headers in your sig though.
I still say 6k.

Even then, 5900 should be fine.
With 1.9's on a 98 I was using an Intense PCM, which has a 2->3 shift of 5900. It would really be up to a dyno.
Keep in mind the trans won't shift right at 5900rpm, it will actually reach between 6000-6200rpm depending on the situation.

And a 4T60 will take that?

Mine didn't. I would say 5800 was all my transmisson could take but results may vary.

I was shifting my 60e at 6400 for a little while, bumped it up to 6600 it shifted a handfull of times and then wouldn't shift. Bumped it back down to 6400 shifted for a month maybe then did the same thing. I tried different things like overfilling the trans and an adjustible modulator. It helped but only temporarily.. I did a fluid filter change and it shifted at WOT for the next 3-4 months untill I got into an accident.
So, from someone who use to rev the crap out of the 4t60, I think you can make 6k shifts last if you don't beat on it all the time.

I had Intense bump my 1-2 and 2-3 shift points to 6200 rpm. It actually commands at 5950 and shifts at 6150 rpm.
The stock 65 trani is rated to 6500 rpm in 1st gear and 6200 rpm in 2nd and 3rd......good luck getting there in 4th.

I have
1-2 5800
2-3 5900
3-4 6000
I'll shift from 1 to 2 between 6000 and 6100

FWIW, the PCM shift points are gauged to shift at a particular MPH, not RPM. So if conditions vary slightly you will see it shifting at slightly different RPMs. Right now mine shifts in the vicinity of 6300-6400 rpm. I have Comp 105 springs and a GT1 cam though. I could probably go a bit higher with it but I don't have a double roller in there for higher rate springs.
