Ya, I'm happy now.

Just like my pal Rod said, "it just tones it down a bit" but that great Magnaflow sound it there........

.......and the added bonus is I can hear my whine again!!!!

I tripled the 3" resonator length from 12 to 36 inches.

It incorporates the spiral flow technique for lower restrictive effect.
Yes, had to make sure it went in the right way.

Flushed the brake fluid too.

No more ricer sound................. at least it's muffled a bit more. :P

So, no more Ricer comments! I have no room for more resonators! :bsmack:

If you liked it before, you'd love it now, if you heard it in person.

My camera vid sound is not very good.

The drone in OD has been tamed.

One short resonator was not enough. The trick is getting them as long as you can.

I should have done this from the beginning. It's so much better.
I can now hear my Gen V whine and the Magnaflow growl mixed together like a vintage brew.

Saving up now for my next mod to treat the Bullet to.

Hey, we better see the Gonzosnake at our next Meet July 19-26 :beerchug:

Please do a flyby video, even normal cruising with a little bit of throttle.

Does your exhaust pipe move to the side, then back right before one of the hangers?

Exactly per the factory routing. It has to jog to stay clear of the rear footwell.

The droning was apparantly coming from the long run of unrestricted 3" tubing. Adding the 3 feet of resonation has done a great job of killing the bad noise without overly muffling the good noise. :)

The heavens have opened up again and may not subside until March but I'll try and get some other sound tracks when it clears.

I have to admit, it was too loud before. The trumpets would blast an announcement whenever I cracked the throttle and it drowned out the sound of the SC whine. Now it is a little more stealth but still not near as quiet as the stock catless exhaust was.

The factory resonator was not 3", and if I remember right Paul has 3" all the way to the Y.

I have the TOG headers exiting into a 3" flex to a 3" pipe into a 3" x 24" resonator, into a 3" x 12" resonator (the stock 2 1/4" resonator is in a box), into a flowmaster 3" Y splitting into twin 2 1/2" pipes into Magnaflow 2 1/2" mufflers and exiting out the stock trumpets.
