Suggestions for hood modifications?

Hey guys. I just got my suspension work done so now I'm wanting another project to get started, at least for the research phase.
So... I was wondering about hood vents. I know guys here use the '80s trans am vents with much success but I don't think their overall shape would look right in my hood. I'd like something to match the 80's angular look that the T has but also have something that is either functional or is a throwback to another GM car (like the GN bump). Any suggestions of cars that I can snitch vents off of?
Here are a few pics of what others have done on LeSabre hoods:
Grand national hood bump welded on (non functional but it looks cool)
GNX fender louvers in the hood (functional)
240Z Louvers
3 in. cowl hood (yes on a wrecked car but its in the process of being restored and L67'd)

I've always wanted to see a inverted cowl induction hood ala GT40 but less extreme

I plan on installing a couple of these louver panels I had made at my work in the hood of my PAU. They do require welding and finishing, but they are functional. If you are interested in purchasing some, shoot me a PM.

Thanks UB, but those aren't quite the style I'm looking for
The lumina vents are the ones used on Wrens car aren't they? I'm considering that style pretty heavily but I was wanting something a little more boxy but something that I could still replace in the event that they get broken or whatever.
These gran prix vents look really good though:

Anybody happen to have any or know of cheap junkyard with some?

I would never use Chevy vents on a Pontiac. :sad5:
Trans Am GTA on mine. And driverjohn's, and PeterG22000's, and a couple others now. I suggest you carefully inspect and measure what areas you have to work with under the hood without cutting into the support structure. That's what dictated the vents I used ultimately.

These are the Z34 vents that I have (coincidentally for sale too if you are interested)

I must have been confusing the Lumina vents with a project that someone else was doing... I think someone else on the T board was thinking about using them.
Good point about measuring for the support structure. I'll have to pop the hood and see what I've got to work with but it should be pretty generous.
JimmyFloyd, could you give me dimensions (width and height) on the Z34 vents? Just on the two main ones in the middle.

Alibi, there are only two vents pictured. The larger pieces go underneath to catch and drain water from rain or a car wash.

My vote is for the GN style hood bump, maybe with "3.8 supercharged" on the bump. I just have a thing for the Grand National.

Ooooh... Ok. I see now.
What about Z34 vents AND the GN bump? Overkill? Too busy? Or would it look totally awesome?

I looked around online and didn't really find any good sources of just hood bumps. Meh, we'll see.
Anyway, heres a couple shots of the underside of the hood. I think there should plenty of space for the vents under there

GS scoops like these?

They should work since my hood is relatively flat. Hmm...
Edit: Heres a Z34 with the vents. Pretty big suckers... I'd need to put them to the inside of the creases in the hood instead of the outside but there should be room.
