Sachs vs AC Delco Front Struts

Post by bwatson1014 »

I know the AC Delco 503-589's are stiffer than some of the other options available for our GXPs, but has anyone tried the Sachs 316 496's? Trying to restore ride quality closest to original FE5 quality as possible and I know Sachs runs a bit stiffer in many other applications. Just curious if they run stiffer for our application as well.

I've had the opposite experience with Sachs. I put a set in my wife's 03 Toyota Avalon and they are very boaty. Not at all what I was expecting coming from bmws

The KYBs felt stiffer than my (worn) FE2 suspension when I put them on. They also have easily over 100k miles on them now and still feel good.
