Pullin' into the Garage
Here I am, pulling into my garage in the SSEi. Timing is everything.

That's awesome! Congrats on the 200k! How many miles did you get it with?

Also super jealous of your garage and lift situation.

Re: Pullin' into the Garage
It had 73,500 when I got it in July 2007. Since getting my wife a Civic Si, the SSEi sees a lot less playing time now that I am the primary driver. Her commute is 30 miles one way, mine is 8 miles round trip. Other than the inevitable door dings, rock chips, and careless other drivers, it's in very good shape for a 19 year old daily driver. It's been hit 3 times in parking lots - once in the left rear quarter by a lit grandma (hepped up on something), again in the left rear quarter by a new 16 year old driver in a church parking lot, and in the right front bumper by an asshat who backed into it at the university and took off (wife was in class when it happened). Mostly just a few scratches, no dents, no rust. Other than the headliner finally beginning to sag in a couple places, the interior is in great shape too. There's a few things I need to do to it, but they're mostly minor nuisances. It drives fine. It actually rides better than the Si, GXP, and my truck, and has more options than any of them as well.
The lift has been awesome. I went back & forth between a 2 post & 4 post, and went with the 4 post for this situation. (I'll put the 2 post in the shop after I build it). It's mainly for storage, oil changes, and that kind of stuff. It came with a set of casters so I can move it into another bay if I want too. Pretty handy.
