hi all, I started my car today and the dash cluster including the DIC is not working.
nothing works except the ses light........I dont have time to check the fuse, but, if everything is dead, would the fuse be blown?

I had an issue with my cluster where it would first drop all the gauges and show the SES light, then over time all the needles just froze in their spots.

Pushing on the cluster would restore operation until the next just right bump until it eventually just became fully unusable when everything froze.

Some kind of solder was broken in my cluster and I replaced the whole thing. Not sure if this is your issue, but maybe try to pull and reseat the cluster?

Is the turn signal light actually flashing or is it just the clicker in the vent clicking?

Sounds kinda like a loose or intermittent connection in the power circuit to the cluster. Depending on where the issue is there may be other things not working that you don't know about. Might see if someone can hook you up with a dash schematic and trace the power signal. (This is one of those cases where Dick (Archon) will be missed - he had all those schematics and advice handy  ).

Intermittent faults are the worst.
