Gentlemen, original owner of a 2005 GXP that was sidelined by the infamous head gasket failure, repaired this summer and now back on the road after a few years of indecision as what to do. Hope to keep it running for the foreseeable future, need some help with DIC codes.

there are quite a few. sent her in for an oil change and while at the local GM shop had them check out the personalization, seat position reset was not working. they came back with, p102 air flow circuit low, ABS C1232-C1233-C1248, airbag B1001, auto climate B1004 KAM RESET, Manuel climate control B1004 KAM RESET, instrument panel B1004 LOSS OF KAM, seat module B2356-B1327-U1305, TPMS C1232-C1237-C1248. was planning on posting in the dedicated forum for the Bonneville GPX. only about 3000 kms since head gasket, no engine lights, runs well as is so interested in descending order of importance, attention to ABS and airbag obvious but remainder left until more miles on repair to head. willing to spend money on the old girl once I have confidence in the rebuild.

Welcome. Any pictures? I, too, am in Alberta. Not many of us around!

Sorry, no pictures, but she's black, has 145.000 klics and was my wifes highway car, driven in summer, parked in winter. I'm trying to put some miles on it to check the head gasket work, then onto the codes. also I did reply to nos4blood70 but used the "post reply" as opposed to the "quick reply",(newby),. not sure where it went, will start a thread in the Northstar GXP forum with the code details. Also I'm north of Edmonton, you?

I'm in Calgary. Too bad you're so far away, I'd be happy to try and help you out. That's not a lot of kilometers. Sounds nice! I've got about 130,000km on mine, and it's parked during the winter as well. Have to baby these gems ;)
