About 4 Years

Well, I've been away from here for almost 4 years. I'm just now about ready to restore my 01 Ssei (Orig Owner). It's been in the driveway under a blanket for about 3 years. Needs a lot of TLC. I've had it on non-op because it needed work and my CEL is constantly on (I know what it is though). Really did not have the money for any repairs, but now I'm about ready to get it going. The California weather really beats the crap out of the paint. I've got most of the parts for restoration, all accept the (5978249) "Applique". I'm trying to find a fairly decent one. The one on mine is really toast. About 95% Delam. I've purchased items from Andrew in the past, and I don't know if he is still on here or is even still selling parts. Anyway like I said lots of issues to resolve.

Partial list:
1) New paint
2) fix a hole in the floor beneath the back seat
3) fix A/C vents
4) Fix fuel filler neck (this is the CEL reason)
5) fix front and rear left window regulators
6) Replace all lights
7) fix sagging headliner
8) fix lights in the instrument cluster
9) repair leather wear in driver seat
10) Replace Applique

This is just a few.

Figured I've spent a significate amount of money on my 07 F-350 it's time to take care of my BABY!

Might have to add to your list; Search for leaks from Door Seals or Sunroof Drain Tubes , as this may have caused the floorboard hole
See here for more typical issues

Have fun doing the restoration.
At least weather shouldn't impede your progress!

Glad to see you back.

Andrew is still at it and better than ever.

11/10 recommend going through and making sure your door seals are good and sunroof drains unclogged.

I fixed the saggy headliner fabric in my 2004 LeSabre with upholstery "twisty pins" from JoAnn Fabric, installed perhaps 6-8 inches apart in a diamond pattern.

Ghetto-licious, but it keeps the fabric off my head.

:hello2:

Still here, but center taillights are slim pickens. The last really nice one I had sold for $400. :ack:
