Im getting sebring tuning mufflers put on my 00 SSEi, Monday. Im stoked to finnaly make the car a bit louder. I do like the cowbell exhaust tips, so as of right now, Im having them reuse those. I wanted to see some of your guys rides, with different exhaust tips, to see if I would regret not getting different tips on.

I have the Silverline tips on my SSEi, and they look like they are made for these cars!

I just bought a pair of the Silverline tips. Since I have Bonny GXP exhaust available, I was able to compare the Silverlines to the factory tips.

They are nearly identical in every aspect, offset, taper, length, the flare where the tips expand, the double wall thickness...everything. I used the word "nearly" as they are 2.25" diameter at the inlet (weld point). They are close enough in every other way to make me think the factory tips were originally sourced through Silverline, or Silverline copied the GXP tips.

It's WAY too close to be coincidence.

Basically, the point of this is to say, if you want GXP tips and can't find decent factory ones, don't worry about it. Buy the following part numbers and polish the "SILVERLINE" off:

Right side. (Note: The picture is currently incorrect, it IS the right (passenger) side tip. Trying to get this corrected).

Left side.

One other note: As these are 2.25" diameter where they weld on...you have to be "creative" with our 1.8" outlet pipes...

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Ken
