Hp tuners and transmission

Hello all, I have recently done a gen v swap l67, with a 3.4 pulley, intercooler and headers, also supporting mods. The car runs well but has a minor vacuum leak and exhaust leak. But anyways I'm having an issue with the transmission. When Im in a turn and give quite a bit of throttle, like average to slighty more than average, it seem the transmission kicks out like it's going into neutral and then will kick back in. I have checked the fluids and there ok. And also I have changed the tables in hp tuners for it to shift at 5500 rpms at 50 MPh but it'll shift at like 5700 and higher at wot. Why won't it take my tables?

your first issue with turning could be diff related, but it really sounds fluid related. I know you have checked the trans fluids, but just to be sure, you checked the Trans at operating temp (160-180*) parked on a flat level surface, ran the shifter thru all the gears with your foot on the brake, and then got out and checked level on the dipstick?

Keep in mind the Commanded vs Actual shift is typically 200-300RPMs higher. I would expect in first to shift at the speed you are describing especially in first when things are revving the fastest. Are you actually at 50MPH when you want the commanded shift, some times you can set up tables that will fight each other if the shift speed does not match the shift RPM. In this case I would recommend you go back to stock Shift tables and test that your commanded shift speed and MPH match the stock tables. once you have verified the stock settings work you can modify

I recall that Todd ran an extra pint of transmission fluid in 8-Ball due to pump starving on sharp left turns, in particular.
