Silly question (actually stupid question) coming up. I have not yet had to perform any work on the GXP yet but now coming fast. The driver side top front pulley is squealing/light grinding. This is mounted above the transmission reservoir. Only have tertiary time at the moment before I get in deep to see what this is.
So my stupid question...is this the water pump? If not what is it?
Also is there a schematic on this blogsphere that has the main component call out?

Does it have a little stamped steel shield over it with a miniature belt? If so, yes, that is the water pump drive. It is driven off one of the cams in there. It's actually really easy R&R.
