Garage openers question

So I know there was something similar to the home link for the Bonneville. Anyone have any information on this or if it can be installed manually?

I know there's another competing product on the market but I've never heard it was specifically available for the Bonneville. The Bonneville has always been the Homelink product.

I believe you can swap in the overhead console from a HomeLink equipped car and have it work. I've always wanted to try it but can never find a HomeLink non-sunroof car at the yards.

There is a separate power connector for the Homelink equipped cars that will not be present in non-equipped cars. Basically, all it requires is power and ground so it really isn't difficult to wire in.

This would be awesome because I hate the buttons thAt hang on the sun visors. If anyone has one for the non sunroof bonnies I'll take it!
