I need to "repair" or replace the radio in the '05 SE. I know for sure a CD is stuck in the radio. The radio has both the cassette and CD slots, but no AUX jack.
The radio is very similar to this:

So, I guess the the "question" is: best to "repair", replace with the unit on ebay, locate a unit like the one ddalder used in his GXP, or ?? ?
I'm open to suggestions, and yes there is a budget, ha ha ha, about $200 or less.
Thank you! - BC

If you're going for stock looks, then go with that eBay unit, or maybe go through Andrew?
However, $165 is a lot of dough. I'd recommend going aftermarket for that cost. You'll get aux and other features and it'll likely sound a little better. However, it won't look as good most likely.

You could try stuffing a blacktie radio in there

Don't know what Andrew charges these days for a radio but you may want to ask. The problem is that you will need to have the radio unlocked with a Tech2 once installed in your car so there is a cost associated with that, too.

the aux jack requires some direct soldering to the board of the radio. if i remember theres a writeup on it on here someplace.... lemme see if i can dig it up
edit: google is magic!
