Hey all been a while since I have posted here! I need to know if anyone can help me figure out how to fix these codes. I have the ABS, Brake, and Trac off lights on and that is all I know. Thank you for any help you can give.

I've had these codes before. It you Google it, you'll get info about a bad running board light on a Ford and other strange stuff. Some scanners call these "B" codes, but they are actually "C" codes. If you Google C1214 and C1248, you'll see that you have low voltage to the ABS system and you need to replace your ABS control module or ECBM The two codes always show up together. The ECBM is that thing mounted to the frame below the master cylinder with all the brake lines going into and coming out of it. If you get the numbers off of it, you can PM Harofreak on this site and he'll send you one. That will make the codes go away and correct all these lights on your dash. Or search ECBM on this site and I think there's some information on resoldering some contacts and repairing it yourself. They're about $400 at Rockauto, so I'd try repairing it myself.

Since the BRAKE light is on, it's likely the EBCM module. I might be wrong, but I believe that a bad wheel speed sensor only trips TRAC OFF and ANTI LOCK.

Yes it only does the Trac off and antilock lights. No brake light

Excellent! This is pretty much what I figured and the only other question then is do I need a tech 2 in order to install the EBCM? If I recall you have to bleed the unit and actuate the individual solenoids or can I just swap and bleed at the wheels?

The EBCM is only the computer part of the ABS system... you don't need to bleed anything. Just remove and replace. Plug and play, no programming.

Easy to replace. It's next to the front transmission mount. I believe it is held on with Torx type screws, but you need the correct module. A module from a car that had Traction control and ABS equipped. Andrew might have one, I got mine from Morad when I replaced it.

I have them for $100 shipped. I need to know the large 2-digit code that is on top of the module. It's probably something like: DD, EE, TR, ER, LL, etc...
