Which LIM gasket?

Hi guys, just a quick question I wanted to throw out there....

I'm shopping for replacement LIM gaskets online. Would you stick with an OEM AC Delco part or should I buy an aftermarket replacement made by Victor Reinz (never heard of them!) at nearly a third of the price? Would you say the aftermarket one is likely to be of inferior quality and not fit as well, or am I overthinking it?

Thanks. :)

Important thing is are they metal. I put the AC Delco on for that reason.
There is a tech article on this that lists the part numbers.

I used Felpro LIM gaskets on both my car and my dad's park Avenue ultra. Haven't had a single problem with either set, and mine have nearly 50,000 miles on them. As ssebonne4ever said, as long as they're the aluminum frame gaskets and not plastic, you'll probably be fine with any of them.

They didn't have a metal framed unit when I did mine. I stuck Felpro in mine.

LIM gaskets are not typically a weak point in the series 1, but I haven't ever heard of that brand either. If it's no big deal to do the job again, maybe give the no name gaskets a try and tell us what you think.

But also remember too that AcDelco parts likely lasted you for 22 years...

Thanks for all the input guys. I'll take another look on RockAuto. I may well stick with Delco.
