I'm assuming aftermarket? How did you wire the switched and constant power? Did you make sure you used to proper adapter? I know that some can just leave the radio on at all times.

yes aftermarket, I used the GMOS-09 harness. I just matched the colors from what merta and kenwood had listed.

Does the radio turn off with the key?

After I upgraded, my battery kept dying. Turned out to be the OnStar module behind the back seat. Don't know why, but Will (SSEiMan01) had the same problem, and he told me to unplug it. I did, and the battery was fine the next day, and has been since (the whole thing is now gone in my car).

Might want to at least try that overnight if you run out of options.

I found it I just had to open my eyes :)
But I also noticed that once I lock my car with the fob after about a minute or two my alarm goes off then i lock and unlock my car with the fob again and its fine.

Could this be due to the install of the new radio?

Thanks, Keith
