i recently started having trouble with my 95 se. it happens completely at random. when igo to start it the car will turn over run for about 20 seconds the spudder and stall right before it spudders and stalls. ive noticed that the power windows and locks stop working. however all other electronics continue to work fine. after it stalls it will refuse to start again but after a few hours it will fire right up no problem. getting stranded is really starting to become a hassle and i would love to get this figured out any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (currently its sitting in a gas station parking lot down the road)

Check all power and ground cables for corrosion. Clean/replace as necessary.
Pull the carpet back in the front foot well corners and check/clean the ground busses. (you'll find pics if you search)
Make sure you don't have a security light flashing on the dash when the car won't re-start.

i cleaned the positive terminal last night and it didnt help. the security light turns on and off as it should when you turn the key on. i did just put in an older aftermarket stereo in (speakers are still stock tho) im gonna try putting the original stereo back in and see if it helps. it will usually start up after about 45 minutes but last night it didnt.

So what about the positive connections at the alternator, starter, fuse/relay center? The cables them selves can have corrosion, not just the terminals.
And battery ground?
And ground busses?

update; i checked the positive terminals on the starter, fuse/relay center, and the alternater and they all look to be in good condition. i didnt see any corrosion or build up on them. however tonight when i came home from work i figured ide give it one last try to get my windows rolled up and it started up. took a bit longer then usual but it did start and run fine (no sputtering or coughing) i backed it up a few feet to get it closer to my garage and then shut it off. i just want you guys to be informed on all things that it does. so you can better decide what issues you think may be occuring. thank you so much for your help in advance.

When it won't start, does the starter turn the engine over?

Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you put the key in the run position?
I'll have to take a look at my FSM for the power circuit to the fuel pump. I've seen fuses partially blow and open once hot.
Definitely check all the interior fuses on both passenger and driver's side carefully if you haven't already.

I agree to check fuel pressure.
Here's the fuel pump electrical in any case:
The fuse is in the passenger foot well panel.

sorry i disaperred for a while but im finally back and with a small update today i started it up after sitting for about 3 weeks to a month and it took a minute to build up fuel pressure to start but it did and it idled steadliy and at a normal rate i let t run for about ten minutes then a got in it and tried to put up the windows. instead of the windows going up it sputtered and stalled and would not start again i checked the busses under the door again and there was an extremely small amount of corrosion on the metal plate wiht holes in it but nothing that would affect anything but i cleaned it off just to be safe. i also removed and checked a few maxi -fuses under the hood (60 ELC/MISC, 60 LGT, 60 IGN SW, 20 PCM/VATS) there are 2 60 IGN SW fuses one in each side driver and passenger side i pulled and checked both all of them looked fine but i got back in after all that and it sitting for about a half hour while i was doing all that it sarted right up no issues and just to try i put up the windows and it worked fine. still dont know what the issue may be

Chang the fuel filter if you let the car sit for periods of time fuel will go bad.

Hi, you can try inspecting the fuse connections to the boxes and check the power in wire bolted to body.
