99 SLE died. on vacation stuck on side of rd.

well it made it half way from Mississippi to Nevada. it died so I pulled over and when I went to restart there was no chime no lights to dash or headlights no fuel pump prime, the radio came on and the electronic climate control. I can turn the head lights on and dash lights from switch. I've checked fuses relays and even had to get a battery. brought to me . please help also I'm in the middle of no where around nothing. thanks

Does the car crank at all? Maybe a ground came disconnected? Haven't ever ran into this so just throwing out a couple things.

Pull up the carpet on both sides of the car by the front doors, you will see the body wiring harness and you will find a bunch of black wires going to a single plug / connector. This is the ground bus and many of these systems you refer to are grounded in these, they are a common problem to corrode and lose connection which will cause a bunch of problems including some you describe. Do some searching here for ground buss and you will find many topics on it as well as some good pictures.

Does it crank over or do you get nothing at all?
