Hey all, I plan to update and modify the entire external lighting system to HID and/or LED.( Stage 1 ) I will start with the front headlights first and have already purchased 35w 6k diamond white headlights and 2.5mm mini projectors and Power wire harness relay for direct power to power source and reduce HID flicker on start up. This will be for all my low and high beam headlight needs. I plan to keep my 9005 socket but upgrade to a LED for DRL and Highway lane change flash key-fob alerts , etc . I also plan to upgrade the turn signal to 3057 amber leds as-well. All led's will be running on there own 50w 6ohm resistors.
Stage 2 I plan to upgrade the factory fog lights with HID bulbs and 35W ballasts 6K diamond white running on there own power relay wire harness .
Any tips hints or tricks of the trade to consider ? i have already purchased all and awaiting delivery . I will post later what i purchased . ( This is a budget build and expect only a budget quality , I will report on how good it turns out !
BTW , Trying to do all of this for under $150 parts cost.

I used JB weld Instead of bolts because i wanted to aim mine when letting the jb weld cure for ultra alignment. This is the stuff i used and once mixed together and placed on back of projectors and sandwiched on you have 3 minutes to align it and it sets fast .

Beautiful. The Steelstik is so much easier than bolts, just requires greater accuracy. I love that more people are going the retrofit route.
Nice work!

Cutoff looks quite good for what appear to be some generic H1 projectors.

Yes! I can not complain for the price, They are generic and was told they our knockoffs of Morimoto Mini " the Oringnal Gen 1 "
But , the originals are better of course . if you got the $
