Turning your passion into a business really makes it hard to find time to do the things you love. There are always more important things to be working on than your own stuff. However, I finally found some time to get my own back on the road. I've been struggling with the transmission since it was rebuilt. It has been removed multiple times because I wasn't getting the torque converter to fully lockup. It turns out that the brand new ZZP TC I had used was faulty. I installed a new Precision unit from TripleEdgePerformance and its working great. Here is a video showing the bench testing of the converters:

Now that the transmission is finally working great, I can finish the tuning, which it so desperately needs. Its running mega rich, I know there is a ton more power in it. After washing and cruising tonight, I had to get some night pics with the clear sky.
You'll be seeing more of this...

20 seconds @ f/6.3 & ISO3200 - used a flash on either side of the camera with some running inbetween

Fantastic photos and car! The b&w shot is done so well it almost looks like it is in color. Can't wait for the tune with the transmission working properly. - BC

I wish my car pictures could look that good.
Since the car is working now is there a chance of you coming to the Michigan meet?

No snow on the ground up there?? I figure if we still have some on the ground, you'd have 2 or 3 feet still.
I like the first shot better. Gives more perspective, then with the clear sky and stars, make it a great shot.

All the snow melted during that really warm week (70°F) a few weeks ago. Southern MN just got pounded earlier this week, but nothing up here.

I had been wondering whether you finished the car! I can't wait to hear/ see more about it. It's beautiful. And I know exactly what you mean- about the catch 22 of doing what you love for a living.

I still can't get over that color white you have on there. It is really slick looking and really catches your eye. Looks great!
