So I had a bit of a catastrophe on Tuesday, E85 is a b*tch to start at -10F. Fuel vapors accumulated in my muffler, ignited and took out the muffler, the rear passenger inner fender well, and popped the rear bumper off... it was loud. Anyway, had a simple pipe put in place of the muffler. It is surprisingly quiet, nice deep tone, actually kind of happy with it. Aside from that, for a complete parts list of this build... good lord. The list... THE LIIIIST... there are so many parts that I had to make, or have made. I will put together a list for you of what I can remember. The suspension was actually the simplest part. The springs are on file at Coilsprings.com. I can probably get them to come up with a reference number, if I were to do it again, I would have the rear lowered 3/4 of an inch, rather than 1.25 inches. I will grab a video once I have the car running a little better. I have since re-visited my tune to work on cold climate starts.

I never knew any of the 3800's were able to run on 85% ethanol.
That's what E85 is: 15% gasoline, 85% ethanol.

I thought 10% ethanol, required in most states in regular fuels
without pump labeling as such, was the maximum. Hence the
large reaction when EPA started talking about 15% ethanol
required which will only benefit the ethanol makers.

I'm not real familiar with it, but I believe E85 plays really well with boost. It's like running alcohol in a race car instead of gas.

E85 is cheap race gas, kinda… Hahaha Allows more boost/timing but needs to a lot more fuel.

You can change the starting fuel tables with DHP if you have access. You'll never have issues with cold starts on corn again.

Awesome ride btw, infinitely envious.

I would definitely need the reference number for the suspension when you get it.

I am waiting on Coil Spring Specialties to get me an order reference number for you. Unfortunately the only summer pictures of the car are from when I was working on it. I have a few driving videos, just haven't uploaded them to YouTube yet. Still working on my tune here and there. It's always dark when I get a chance to really drive it.

I'm back with the reference number from Coil Spring Specialties. Inv# 111999 is what you will want to reference for the springs that I am using, for those who were looking for that info. I have a driving video made that I will upload, I also have a 40th Anniversary Edition Grand Prix in my driveway now too. It's been a busy couple days. I may give the Grand Prix a similar treatment as the Bonneville. I will also get another video this coming weekend. I am heading up to Stratton in Vermont for a few days, some good roads to be driven along the way.

Cool setup. E85 does not like extreme cold weather.. it does get a little temperamental!
