The only issues we've had were really super Mickey-Mouse. The '09, a rattling driver-side sun visor and a right front door handle. The door handle was due to a very strong teen-age grand-son. Changed the oil every 6 months. Put 20K miles on it. The '11 was something loose with the exhaust. The oil changes were no charge. 19K miles. The '13 is the "rotating ignition switch". I don't buy it. I tried the '94 SSE and it is much easier to turn than the 3 CTS's were. The car has 14K miles on it. Oil changes are no charge. So far the cars have been very dependable. The only one of the 3 we've really driven was the '09. We took 2 road trips in it. One from home to OK City, to Des Moines IA, to Independence MO, to Springfield MO, to home. Just the wife and I. The second trip was from home to Tallahassee FL, to Atlanta GA, to Montgomery AL, to home. That one was the wife, a tall, well built grand-son and myself. We had enough room, not like a Bonneville, but we didn't have any problems. Loved the cars. Traded the '09 because it rode a little stiffer than I could handle and the dealer gave me a deal I couldn't turn down. The '11 was traded because of what GM did to the 2014 CTS. The 2013 should be good till at least December 2019. - BC
EDIT: the 2011 is actually my favorite of the 3 because of the colors (in & out) and the wheels. - BC
