SC injectors in NA?

Will injectors from 2000 SC regal work in a 04 lesabre NA. I have some that have been laying around and was wondering about trying to fix a lesabre that has a miss fire or something that don't throw a code for that. Car will stumble at stop lights or stop & sometimes stall. Going to try intake first. Sometimes it will stumble when trying to get on express way too. When it does it stopped it will come out of it by giving it gas, this what makes me think it's a fuel or to much air problem.

They will physically fit I believe, not sure about the tune, I'd suspect they'll run way too rich, since they're a higher flow injector.
Have you checked the catalytic converter? That would be my #1 suspect. It would severely restrict airflow.

Or something wrong with the ignition system.

Injectors don't really go wrong too often, I'd check other stuff first. The L67 injectors WILL need an appropriate tune to work on an L36.

I ohmed the injector's & they seam close 13.6 to 14.1 so should be good. Raped on the cat with rubber hammer & seams solid. See if intake helps tomorrow. If not maybe ill swap Bonnie coils to it. Like to get a hei spark tester.

You don't need some fancy spark tester, pull the plugs off the coils and watch for spark...

That won't ruin the coils? Do you just do one coil at a time.

Nope, won't hurt anything
You can pull one at a time off and fire the car up on have someone else crank it over while you watch the coils. You will very clearly see the spark as well as a pronounced *snap* noise with it, the spark will jump from the tower to the base of the coil.

Intake seams to be solving the problem. The coolant ports had 1/4 inch of coolant cake. Look like slight amount of coolant was in oil, could see it on the top of vavle covers. One intake port gasket looked to be weak on the valley side.
Beside the coolant cake this motor was real clean inside. Still put a pint of kerosene in oil afterthought job drove four miles then drained. Might need to do oil pan gasket in spring.
