Emergency Brake Light Question

Hi all. Been a while, but I have quick question. Noticed these last few months that the emergency brake light keeps coming on. Emergency brake is fully off, and the DIC is confirming that. Emergency brake works great. Also noticed the TRAC OFF and ABS lights are on. Had the car scanned, and "right front wheel speed sensor input 0" is showing, so I know I need a new wheel bearing, but could the emergency brake light being on have anything to do with this?

I have searched and searched, but couldn't find much about this. I did check to see if the master cylinder is leaking, and there are no signs of leaks. Also, the emergency light is intermittent, thought as the days go by, it is on more and more (the car also chimes when it pops on).

Based on one post, I unplugged the sensor going into the master cylinder when the light was on, to see if the light would turn off. It stayed on.

Brakes work amazing. Pads and rotors are only weeks old (they were put on after the light problem started), and the car will stop on a dime. I do notice that at a stop, I can press the brake peddle almost to the floor, and I can't recall if this is normal or not. During actual braking, the peddle works normal. I have also noticed at times when braking, that the peddle will vibrate for a split second, almost as if the ABS has been engaged, but the ABS hasn't worked in months due to the wheel bearing speed sensor.

Does this sound like a bad master cylinder?

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Just replace the wheel bearing. It will cure the brake light too, so do not worry!

Much appreciated. I will have the bearing replaced and hopefully that will solve the problem. Thanks!!

If changing the wheel bearing doesn't fix the E brake light issue, check the small plunger switch at the top of the E brake pedal and make sure it is engaging the pedal properly and is functioning.
