GXP style L36 decal?

Photobucket is down right now so I can't upload a picture but I drew up a decal just for fun. Imagine the GXP logo except replace GXP with L36. So the last checker in the checkered flag where it is in the G it's in the L. I was thinking of just having some Die-cut decals made and putting them on the front bottom of the front doors and taking the SLE badges off. Maybe white to match my other sticker accents and probably just as small as a GXP badge. I think it looks alright and doesn't make it look too much of an imitation of the GXP symbol. Thoughts? I'll upload pic as soon as I can

It's only a sketch, I'm not sure where (if they've ever been made) to get L36 badges. Just something I thought of and drew up quick, with a lot of eraser marks cause I suck at drawing 6's

I have never seen an L36 badge ever, but some Regals and Grand Prixs did have 3800 series 2 badging.
As far as the badge idea, it looks pretty cool, but the gap between the L and 3 sets off my OCD, but I am not sure what you can do about it.

Yes I know it bugs me too but it is only a sketch. I think I'm just going to get one made. My buddy does all this for a living and can make almost anything. So when I get it to him it'll be computer generated and refined.

Very interested in seeing how this turns out if you get them made.

I can definitely dig it. Looks good, not ricey or anything. Maybe email flaming decals about it.

My buddy in GR (KBCustoms) does all this for me. He does tint, riaal protek and plastidip whole car sprays, retrofitting, remote starts, die cut decals, aftermarket lighting, vinyl taillight tinting. Pretty much everything if anyone in Michigan needs work done in the GR area he's one of the best for less than big businesses around here. I'm going to see what he can do to fix those awkward letters and will get a few made and if all looks well I can get a few more for all the forever N/A guys out there :(

Tried to refine it on the computer, what do you guys think? Does the L36 need to be beefier?

For sure, maybe boxier font so it matches the GXP checkers.

I like it like that, but do one slightly thicker so we can compare.

The font for the "L36" just looks too plain.

Little more beefy, can't find too many boxy square fonts

I was thinking something like this;

That would be ideal if I could replicate that style font.. The 36 just looks a little wimpy

It's what I'm here for.
But anyways, I like where this idea is going. Could definitely turn out to be something really cool. Might be easy to adapt L67 variants as well for the boosted guys.

I gave the most recent design to my buddy. I told him to see what he could do to make it beefy. My plan is if it looks good and some people like it, he can make more and easily change 36 to 67 on the design. We will see what he can do with this

I've actually got some similar designs on my computer at home that I did with PaintShop. I'll post up some later tonight when I get home from work.
