So I recently got married and things have slowed down for me in life, but one new interest has caught my attention, and that is Horsepower. My father passed away like 2 years ago and I ended up with his Bonneville. Its an 03' SSEI, Black. Before that I have always had decent cars but never any significant power. Well the Bonneville has given me a little taste and I love it. Im not really sure where to start but Im thinking of maybe a PCM/ECU tune. I have access to all the software and hardware I need, I just am not sure how to go about it all. Computers/software are second nature to me. Any start out help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you plan to do much modification looking for power, you should.plan on tuning often.

Thanks. Actually the first thing I need to do is fix the paint a little bit. I've got some scratches, but mostly the rust under the fill nozzle. I hear it's pretty common, poor design.

Welcome! Before modding for power, make sure all maintenance is up to date.

Good thing for me is that my father had purchased it new, and he was very good at routine and preventative maintenance. Also he was soft on the accelerator (as far as I know....lol). Believe it or not, I just changed the ORIGINAL factory battery last month. He had only put 72K miles on it when he passed away 2 years ago.
