Stability system and abs

Where are the stability system faults stored? I have had this car for about 8 months and I get the service stability light and tire pressure light. I usually just reset them so they don't blink until I can get the problems fixed. Recently I have been driving and the chimes will go off but nothing across the DIC, and the usual faults seam to have e delay for some reason. So I hooked up an actron code reader to it and when I tried to read the abs codes it aid link fault? I tried multiple times

The code reader did abs. I have used it many times to pull them up but this time it kept saying link fault and the usual tire pressure and check stability system warnings weren't coming up on the DIC. One more thing I noticed when it chimes randomly while going down the road the steering gets noticeably firmer.

It sounds as if you have a problem with the EBCM.

Hope you don't have to buy a code reader just for this. Advance Auto pulled up codes with descriptions for my ABS system including tire pressure.

As I understand it, the tire pressure code will engage if it measures a significant enough difference in pressure (not necessarily low pressure) so just make sure all of your tires are at the same PSI. If that stops the tire pressure warning (you'll have to clear it one last time) maybe that will narrow your search.

Thanks I didn't know advanced would do that with abs,the tire thing is because the previous owner put aftermarket rims on it and didn't put new sensors in.

There are no sensors for the tire pressure system. The system reads the individual wheel speed sensors and based on that it will say low pressure. A low tire will spin at a slightly different speed then a fully inflated tire so that is how the system works. Once the tires are aired up the light will stay on until it is reset. Without the DIC just hold the tire pressure reset button until it resets, with DIC scroll through until it goes to the tire pressure screen then hold reset for about 5 seconds or so until it resets.

Then you may want to consider a rebuilder as haro1225 suggested, if you can be without the car for a few days. They often have fairly quick turn-around with reasonable prices.
