He guys! I just bought my first car and it is an 01 Bonneville SSEi! I'm in love with her but she has a few (many)

problems. I've read alot of the posts and you guys are pretty awesome and so are your cars. "Cleo" is not much to look at now but that won't be for long.

I recently spent upwards of $2000 getting brakes and valve covers replaced because of an "oil leak"....yea i know, I'm still suffering from that rip-off. Anyhow, I'm having trouble with rough idling and when I shift into gears there is a jerk. Is that a sign that my transmission is beginning to slip. Also when I accelerate I feel a weird jerk. All of my electrical is going haywire because my sunroof is leaking. There's a lot going on here lol but I've read some of the related posts and some of them seem do-able.

They are all doable. Just take your time and do them right. As for the moon roof leaks, I suggest gutting the interior and doing a "Haro" on it. Fix the upper and lower drains and check the water barriers in the doors.
BTW, welcome to the madness!

Check your front trans mount, very common to kick the bucket and could be the cause of a couple of your described issues.

You should find out if you're near other members. We had Mod Days out here in Vegas for ages with the Grand Prixs but people move and the cars get older so there are fewer of us. Still a great way to get help, learn about all the systems and save tons of money on repairs. Unless you do like we did and spend gobs of money on Sparks, beer, ribs....... yeah...... LOL

Nice looking car. Glad you joined us. We could "use" more photos of it.
Read the section in Detailing and Appearance on how to clean up your headlights. I bought a 2005 to replace my 1992 and that was one of the first 6 things I did/had done to the car. - BC
