Well guys, it's time to replace the fronts. Car is spongy as hell up front and squirrely going around corners.
So, as far as brands, what would you guys recommend? I saw a thread for SSE's.
I'm probably going to order from Rock I think (allthou I'm wondering about shipping costs), so if you have some part numbers handy that would be super cool as well
Thanks
PS. These are available locally:

Link doesn't show up correctly. Do you have the part number?
These cars are getting older and not as many available.
When I had my 89 LE, I put Monroes on all 4 corners. I suggest using the same springs and not using the quick struts. You can also visit the local JY and grab some FE2 sway bars and springs with new end link bushings for a better ride. While there, grab a strut tower brace from a 92-99.
With those changes, it really makes the LE handle a lot better and fun to drive.

I pretty much did the same thing to the 90. Monroes on all four corners, with as many FE2 suspension parts as I could scrounge and source. (OEM springs, seats, swaybars, with new bushings.) Only problem was dealing with seller substitutions under that same PN for the front struts. Eventually got the pair that had the steel L brackets on them.
Is Don's list of various suspension setups with PN's still out here someplace?

Sorry the Carquest link didn't work but I believe they are the same part as these KYB's:

Which Monroe's did you guys use? These?

Those are the "Luxury" Sensatracks.
I'm going to do the Front's first and then the rear's next month.
You guys rock thanks

Digging around for rock auto shippers from 2009...
Monroe-Matic Plus 801799 rear struts
Monroe-Matic Plus 801632 front struts
I also had AirLift bags in the rear end (I towed trailers with the Bonnie.) I did the rears first, along with all the other FE2 suspension parts first (springs, bushings, and sway bars.) The front oem struts were still good, so they stayed on the car and the new front struts stayed in the boxes. Even with just this, it firmed up the ride and reduced the body roll in corners without being harsh.
Daughter had the front struts put on about a year ago while doing the front ball joints. I haven't had a chance to drive it with all the parts in place.

Any 87-99 strut will fit as long as its the whole assembly. My 87 LE has front struts from a 96 se, most 87-99 suspension is interchangeable.

Monroe sensatracks are good, use your original springs or if they are rusted and bad order some from rockauto. I ordered front springs for the front of mine that are the sse spec. That along with poly swaybar bushings and endlinks make the car handle much better, it just eats up corners with almost no body roll.
