Now that I have had a chance to throw a bucket of water on it I don't feel so bad to show my new to me Bonneville I bought last Thursday and then spent the last week overhauling. Still needs a lot more cleaning and work but it will get there. Hope someday it will be worthy to hang out with some of the cars I have seen on here. Some real beauties.
Without further ado, my 2000 SSEi with 130k miles:

Oh this thing needs some serious paint work. Hood has huge chunks of clear missing and the front bumper has that.... wrinkle in it. I hope I can have it fixed as it seems people want Ludacris money for the front bumper skins for these things.

Looking at your sig pic your car looks really nice too.

I take it you haven't seen my car from any other angle... Lol Good.

I have a spare black bumper awaiting paint. My problem is that I can't find anywhere to paint my stuff that isn't crazy amounts of money.

Thanks. It has been some work!

Lets see.... I semi fixed the sunroof (needs a little assistance), driver window motor, blend door actuator, lamp fix in stereo, remove bad tint, ordered complete set of plasma bulbs for the nose, upper intake gaskets, lower intake gaskets, aluminum cooling elbows, water pump, coolant flush, replaced vac lines, triple oil flush, front engine mount, outer tie rods, removed stupid diesel muffler and installed some performance mufflers, new AC compressor and drier, AC pressure switch, 605 plugs, spark plug wires, oil pressure sender, cooler thermostat, new arm rest on the way, new remote case, new OEM rear shocks, new intake filter, new fuel filter, cleaned out injectors, cleaned out the IAC and am still trying to figure out how to make the Homelink link to my Genie garage opener and switch the RKE remote from driver 2 to driver 1.

Tried to make it more shiny. Cut and buffed then cut and buffed and then cut and buffed again! All that work and makes no change in the pictures. :( At least the paint is smooth now and most of the scratches are gone.

You may not want to do what I did. I put Klasse acrylic (4 coats) over my wife's (switchblade silver) CTS. When it's in the sun it looks so close to being a "Silver Diamond Tricoat". It's a lot of work and a pressure wash (as in "automatic" car wash) can make it peal off. You car does look great without it. - BC
