Well the wife and I bit the bullet and decided to get a replacement daily driver to replace her Grand Prix.
We wanted a cross over so we looked at Equinoxes, Terrains, Rogues, Muranos, Rav4's, ETC.
We finally agreed upon this one:
2014 Subaru Outback 2.5 Limited
Carbide Gray Metallic
It's not as peppy as a 3.8 but it has all wheel drive and it gets 27+ MPG.
We just LOVE this car.

Ive looked at subarus a few times, would be nice to have awd where im at. Not a bad looking vehicle and should be nice and fun in the snow.

Great buy. I drove the 3.6R last year - torque and traction for days.

Terrific cars these, as it's essentially a Legacy wagon with a raised ride height. The grey paintwork looks great on it too.

They're great DDs. Roomy, fuel efficient, and practical.

'Grats!
Just reminds me of the Morrie's Subaru billboard on 694 in the Cities, slide through your last intersection at ramp XXX. Except your AWD makes the car go, not stop...

Looks like we need to install a taller fence.

LOL.... Trust me, I'm a GM guy through and through. This is the first vehicle that I have owned that WASN'T a GM vehicle. We did a lot of research and, honestly, we didn't find any new or used GM vehicle that met our criteria (AWD, decent ground clearance, good gas mileage, reliable, etc...).
