Gonna need your guys' help

As some of you know, I got a 2005 Bonneville GXP. And yes, the instrument panel is jacked up. The oil pressure gauge is inconsistent. The tach is too. The voltage, Speedo, fuel and temp gauge seem to be working fine. I drove it for the first time at night last night. The tach is very dim at the 12:00 position. The Speedo at the 2:00 position. The fuel and temp gauges are extremely dim! And the fog lights aren't working. The switch with the orange dot is illuminated. I'm going to get a new relay (position 29 in the underhood relay block). I guess I'll have to take it to the dealer ($$$) to get this stuff fixed. What has happend to GM? They can't build cars better than this? My 2006 GTO needed a new steering column, 3 ignition switches, the 3rd was the redesigned switch, and 3 ignition switch cylinders. I know its made by Holden in Australia. But its a subsidiary of GM. Also, my GXP was owned by a woman, I have 2 wheels on the passenger side that's been what looks like scuffed up against a curb. I'd like to get 2 wheels for it.

Get in touch with Andrew (harofreak00) he may have a GXP cluster. And iirc there is an issue with a dust cover making the fog lights get too hot and the bulbs going out prematurely.
EDIT: here is the fog light thread

Andrew will get you fixed up on the cluster.
Ditto on the fogs.
GXP wheels in good shape are pretty hard to find.

LOL, fog lights out... There's a shocker!
I'm not falling into the "oh woe is me, what happened to GM" argument. I had zero quality issues with my GXP, zero issues that aren't self induced with my GTO, zero problems that weren't self induced with my Cadillac, and zero issues with my now ~15 y/o Suburban that I use like a tank.
However, my Chrysler product...
You bought a now ~9 y/o used car and it has a few issues...

Ok, thanks guys. If I tap on the the lens, the lights get brighter. I will get in touch with the guy on here about a new cluster. GM said I can either get a new one, or send the old one out for repair. I'll check with the guy on here first, and have the dealer install it.

Bad ground wire. Another notorious issue once you get in there and look inside the housing.

Thanks for the thread about the fog lights. I see they're going to be a pain too. I was online looking for blue fog light bulbs and came across a blue xenon kit, with adapter bracket. It's made for the GXP, and I think the blue would look good with my Galaxy Silver, and soon to be tinted windows.

How blue are we talking? 6000K is the highest you should go if you want any sort of light output, and if you don't want to like ricey.

You can try removing the instrument panel gauge cluster (it takes no more then 5 minutes - remove 2 clips above the cluster that holds dash trim plate in by pushing a small screwdriver in the center of the clips, then pull off the entire trip panel - it is held in with snap in clips, then the cluster is held in with 5 snap in springs), and reseat the connectors a few times to clean them (at the top left and right) and see if that fixes the problem, then check for bad grounds. I think they are on the cowl behind the trip panel.

Its like a medium blue. And yes, they're 6000k. Its a hid kit. It looks pretty easy to install. And I'll give taking the cluster out and see how that goes this weekend. Thanks for all the help. I like this car. It seems not a lot of people are in the know when it comes to a Bonneville GXP. I took a Mustang GT owner by surprise yesterday coming home from work. They pulled up along side me, and really checked out my car. I love the sleeper aspect of this car.
