Yeah I see him on the other boards. I think he's in the process of a Gen V and a S1X cam...I thought I was getting close to him with my time. Then he ran a 14.3xx...before the new cam/blower...darn it.

Yeah, Bruce and I have talked a few times. BTW, the Cam and blower are still just sitting in the garage until I have money and time.

BTW, I never did see whether you have the console or the armrest?
If you've got the console, but not the CD player, then we're production twins.

Nope I have the flip arm rest and the cd/tape player. I wish I had a console the arm rest gets in the way and if someone does flip up the arm rest and use it as a seat the seat belts don't really move out of the way so it's uncomfortable.

Well, be glad of the bench for one thing; I'm gonna have to do some repairs on my drivers seat, and it's gonna be a massive PITA, because the seat pan, cushion, lower cover, heating element, and a few other pieces are all discontinued and out of stock. The same pieces for the bench seat are still in stock, because they made massive numbers of them for replacement parts.

Also, The tan interior console pieces are also all discontinued and out of stock, so I can't replace the cupholder door that is starting to peel from a little tiny nick... :banghead:

That really sucks...I know this would be lots of work and a wiring nightmare but I heard some seats from a caddy bolt right in. That would be really interesting to have some new plush seats from a sts/dts but who knows if that would work. My rear tilt function just took a crap and I only used it like 3 times. I really wanted the center console piece too.

Find an upholstery place and see how much it would be to redo your PAs. For a Bonneville at a local shop, it's $600 for any color leather seats, dash, door panels, and any color headliner, carpet, etc.

600$ seems really cheap. I always thought new interior would cost 1k$+.

Come to Indiana! Or just ask around. See if some upholstery places can show you some of their earlier work. Maybe you can get an even better deal.
