Only ONE dome light will not go off

I tried searching but could not find anything.

The rear passenger dome light over the door will not go out but the rest of the interior lights will.
I pulled the bulb to keep the battery from going dead which now the remainder of the interior lights do not come on.
Sure need the help to figure out the repair.

thanks

Did you make sure the button was pushed in(turned off)? Sounds like a stupid question but it happens..

Yes the switch is fine. All lights go out as they should except the one over the rear passenger door.

Why would you say the switch is fine if the bulb never goes off? I would say the switch is bad.

The switch on the dash seems to work fine- it turns the all the interior lights on and off except for the rear passenger door light. Am I missing something? Does this switch have to wiring to control all lights individually??
All the interior dome lights go on and off as they should with the doors opening and closing and turning the dask switch on and off - except for the rear passenger door

There's a little button to turn it on and off in the back, if someone were reading a book, etc. I wonder if a passenger didn't bump it? That'd be my first suspicion.

OH now I know what you meant. I didn't know there was a buttom back there. I will check for that.
No one rides in the back, I am the only one in the car to use for transportation to and from work.

The door pin switch, that turns the light on when the door is open, is stuck on. Push it in and let it snap out a few times. Tap on it's base with something hard to get it to release.

Finally had time to look at the problem and LOL knowing there was a switch at the light above the rear doors. The switch is bad. The switch would turn off when it was pushed but click back to the 'on' position by itself. Now all I have to do is find a replacement switch which should be fun.

Pull the bulb for now, then send a private message to Andrew (Harofreak00) to see what he may have for the switch.

Might just need to buy the whole grab handle.

Replacing the whole grab handle does look like the way to go. I have yet to take it apart but looks like removing the two screws will remove it. I still cannot get over that I did not know there was a switch located at the light!

Like me, you probably don't drive from the back seats much...
