I heard Monroe max air was the way to go. I bought a set of them only to find the air fittings are not the same as the stock ones. My first question is is there a adapter kit to hook up my existing stock airlines to the new struts? My next question is did I buy the correct struts. Does my car have an auto air leveling system? I'm kinda confused on everything now.

The back of these cars for 2000 - 2005 is shocks, struts on the front only.

What fittings are on your rear shocks? They should look just like the ones pictured in my writeup for rear shock replacement here - http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/fo ... 39750.html

Usually Monroes are the only ones that do have the right fittings...

The KYBs I bought (SR1002) have the right fitting as well.

It appears that the guy before me put shocks on it and must have changed the fittings. The are now a screw type.
