Better to have someone from on here instead of having it rotting in a pick-n-pull

My original plan was to fix it by parting my 2000, and L67 swap BUT....
When I got there to look at the car. That front frame is too far gone. I think it COULD be repaired but it would be too cost prohibitive plus the hail damage on roof and trunk. She's a part out.
Now I'm debating whether I want the swoopies or GXP rims on my 1994....

Swoopies.
Jeez, that is rough. How bad did the neighborhood end up being that you asked about?

I say GXP rims on the 94. At least try it out.
It looks like it's raining GXPs this Thanksgiving.

I at least have to try the GXP wheels and see how they look. Think chrome will look Bette twitch bright red though.
Looks worse than it is. Surprisingly the interior is quite nice and it has a good sunroof!
Yeah, not a nice neighborhood at all. That was fun. Car was parked under the Amtrac/Metra (or whatever it was) that goes by about every 8 seconds. Was told it ran, got there and security issues wouldn't let it start. So he called a tow driver to help. Almost had it on the dolly and battery goes dead, had just enough power to auto lock the doors with the 1 key in the ignition. Good thing for the tow driver, he had that car open in a minute flat.
So yeah, 9 hours later we finally got home. Map said 1hr 30min each way. Should have known better than that.

Well, come to find out. The guy had a crap battery in the car so the security was doing something wonky.
Got it home and slapped a new battery in and she fired right up, ran pretty dang good too.

For the short time I ran it to get it off the trailer and parked.
Uh oh. I've been bitten by the Northstar bug again, that engine just sounds sooo good.

Hmm. Nice. So does this mean that you will still be parting it out?

Yeah, this one is too far gone, body wise. Front frame support is pushed in, whole front end is pushed over an inch or two and the front subframe is bent. Plus the hail damage. As well as both airbags deployed and busted windshield.
But I will be on the hunt. Got a spare engine, now where's one with a junk Northstar when I need it? haha
