2003 Bonneville SSEi Engine question

I am literally :banghead: here. :helpsmilie: I have been noticing when I drive around in parking lots that my engine will kind of lug as if it's misfiring. Didn't ever do this before. It happens with very light throttle. What I did notice that when I changed the plugs in it recently is that #3 and 5 are a little dirtier than the rest. I am wondering if those cylinders injectors aren't performing to their fullest. I will also get hesitation under hard throttle as well and when I looked under the hood at night I noticed 3 & 5 exhaust ports glowing a faint red. I am going to conduct a pressure test by pulsing the injectors. Hope I find an answer there. Any help is appreciated here.

Thank you and Happy Holidays. Drive safe.

I had the same issue little while back but I found out that the plugs had hairline cracks and we're shorting on the metal sheilds. So basically try taking the sheilds off see if that helps

Check over the ignition system, starting with the wires, coils, and ICM.

Could also check your cat, might be clogged.
