Into his lawnmower maybe. I bet it turns into an equation of 2 less cylinders, and 1 more supercharger.

From craigslist...

"Make Offer, this is a 2005 Bonneville GXP equipped with the Northstar V8 4.6L with 190K miles that is in non running condition. The car is in great shape, with all the options including a sun roof. The interior is like new, no rips or tears in the leather, and everything works inside, except the radio display needs a new bulb. The exterior is in good shape, a few minor scratches on the rear bumper, and the front bumper is cracked and needs a fog light.

I purchased the car non running with the intention of repairing it and driving it, however, my plans have changed and do not have the time. The car cranks very well but will just not start, not sure of the problem, but seems fixable. The previous owner had the Transmission, Tires, Brakes, Battery and Fuel Pump replaced within the last 5K miles. His daughter used the car as a commuter car for college, so mostly highway miles. These cars are rare, and this one just needs a little TLC. The car blue books for $4,800 -- $6,000, and with some parts and labor you will have a great car.

Again, the car does not run or drive, you will need a tow truck or truck and trailer (with winch/come along) to pick it up.

To avoid spam, please E-mail me your number with GXP in the subject and I will call/text you back.

Looking for a reasonable offer, not looking to scrap or part it out. "

Fate is undecided at this point but I will not be doing any engine swaps with this one. If I can't get this engine running then it will be parted out.

I think you're the only one who wants to put a N* into something. People are usually always taking them out. :P jk bud

I don't blame you for not wanting to swap this in your driveway Ryan. Interested to see more. :bworthless:

Honestly I would N* swap my SE in a heartbeat if I had the time. I have an L67 that I have had for six years without modding so the whole no / very little mods for it is of basically no concern to me. I would much rather have the V8 rumble.

I just figure for $1,600 for it I can't go wrong either way

The starting issue sounds like it would be a simple fix. In either case though, from the CL pics I saw, it looks like a great deal. :beerchug:

More pics later when I get home and get it off the dolly. It is in better shape though then the last GXP I picked up.

Wow that interior is nice. Hopefully it is simple. That would be a nice DD.

If it was a 3800 wouldn't the cps be a likely culprit?

He's gonna have to dig in to it. Who knows, it may crank very well because of no compression...
