2000 SSEi airbox in other bonnies?

I got the extra factory airbox from my 2000 SSEi. I got the thrasher intake kit in mine so its not being used. My question is would this work in my 98 se or 87 le? The box is more open than either other cars air boxes. What u all think?

I'm guessing that the similarities are not close enough to be used across the year platforms.

It will work... you need: But most likely not well.
* Duct tape
* ball point pen
* paper clip
* Ice Pick
