Well, sprayed them with tinting paint. How do they look?

I agree, do the reflector too.crash93ssei wrote:Love the tinted tails, absolutely do the center reflector!
True point. I will tint the reflector after the 4th vacation.WhiteArrow3800 wrote:Looks good so far. I think not doing the center reflector would draw more attention to it because it's inconsistent.
Haha, I am getting a detail Friday. So after my car is all shiny, I will post some better pictures. I will tell you though, that center reflector was a hassle to get off. Hopefully now I won't get pulled over. lolTrinity wrote:Well, it's after the 4th vacation... let's see those tails and reflector!!
Nah, its not a shop. A friend that did detailing for 10 years. He detailed a lot of expensive cars, including a Ford GT40, a few newer Dodge Chargers and plenty of other cars. He and my other friend were the best in the shop, and got paid more than the shop manager back when they were in the prime.crash93ssei wrote:I always cringe when I hear people say they are getting their car detailed. All too often the "detailer" just runs a rotary polisher with a wool pad all over the car leaving holograms all over the place then covering their crappy work with a glaze full of fillers. After a few washes the paint is actually in worse condition then it was to start with. I really hope the place you are going to is good... and that is hard to find in the world of detailers. For ever one detailer that actually knows how to do it right there is 30 more that do hack jobs...
Finger nail polish remover or some kind of plastic safe lacqer/paint thinner.bobgto65 wrote:How do you remove the tint?
Well, I had my girlfriend hand wash my car and clean it up better than it was. So I took some pictures. I will have them posted up in a new thread.Trinity wrote:Looking forward to seeing it...
