You can get a 92-99 for that money, supercharged even if you are not too picky.

Is it worth it? Thats up to you. Thinks to consider are the condition of the rest of the car, and why you are sticking with this example. $2500 into the car puts you in to the labor of love category, and is likely money that you will never see again.

Body kits: There is no aftermarket parts, so everything will be custom. Also look at other examples, such as the 88-91 SSE, which is arguably better in all respects, and can likely be had for the same money.

Want my opinion? Series 2 swap! You get fast, and you get to keep your car! It's a bit of work, but totally worth it.

I feel you on the 87-91 series, i still miss mine. For $2500 though, something like this would git'up! S2 FTW!
