Brakemotive drilled and slotted rotors

Does anyone have any experience with Brakemotive on ebay? I've ordered a front and rear kit for my Grand Prix. It includes drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads all around for $187. I've read mixed reviews on the drilled and slotted rotors. What do you all think of them and why? I already ordered them and plan to install next week. I know for sure the gp needs the front rotors and pads but not sure about the rear. I just ordered both front and back thinking it was a good deal but I don't think the rears are as bad as the front. I also thought it might be a good idea to have the drilled and slotted rotors for the rear since I was doing the front. Good or bad idea? Not really interested in actually racing or anything other than regular driving.

Also, my GXP Bonne will also need brakes very soon too. Any suggestions that I should consider would be appreciated. Other than ceramic pads which I for sure am getting because the brake dust on my wheels is killin' my look! haha

Well the problem with drilled rotors is that if they are not cast with the holes, they are prone to cracking. I personally have only slotted rotors in the front. Weren't worth the extra cost for me to get them in the rear.

I would recommend Hawk Ceramics. They have a dust off period though. Mine took forever, but now they stay pretty clean. And they bite super hard.

I have used drilled & slotted rotors on a 98, 2000, 2002 SSEi and currently have them on my GXP, never had one crack. I use Akebono pads and have on every car, minimal dusting, better than any of the others I have used, Hawk, Raybestos, etc. I get the pads from Rock and got my last set of rotors from: http://brakeperformance.com/.

Supposedly it helps prevent cracks if the holes are chamfered. I have not personally demonstrated or experienced this. Just one of those "I heard it somewhere" things.
