Ok let me start from the beginning with some background. Few weeks ago I noticed when opening up the drivers door the lights on the window switch would go off and wouldn't be able to control the window with the door open but when I closed the door lights on the window switch would come back on window control would return. Being it was so cold out and it kept coming back on I figured I would wait til it warmed up. Well it didn't wait for me the other day I came out no power windows/door locks at any of the 4doors nothing, power mirror also not working also the car has no idea when a door is open. Today I got a chance to play around with it first thing I did was pull the driver seat to redo the splice under the carpet no luck. I swapped out the drivers door mod to rule that out no change. One thing I did see is I was testing some wires for continuity and noticed that one of the two tan/white wires that get spliced together under the seat does not seem to have continuity at the door mod one wire does one wire doesn't not sure if this is my problem as it was pretty dark out I stopped at that point. anyone have any ideas? my best guess at this point is that wire maybe something in the harness that runs between the driver door and the car maybe loose?

Exactly, check the wires between the door and body, make sure there aren't any breaks in them. Also, in 2000, the door harness plugs in right inside the body where the grommet is, both of the 2000 Bonneville parts cars I have here had wires exposed and corroded right there at the plug and I am sure that that could lead to problems.
