Complete loss of braking power, fluid under radiator

This is a new one for me..

I can't exactly pinpoint it since my car is pretty filthy under the hood from various seeping gaskets, etc., but I lost all braking power earlier today. There's no wetness under the MC. But it's very wet on the front lower engine mount. And, even more weird is that when I was able to nurse it home, everytime I'd stop, I'd get a nice big billow of smoke coming from under the hood....the smell of burnt brake fluid.

Anyone got any suggestions?

So, I've determined it's this thing leaking:

Not sure what it is, but it's COATED in fluid, as are all the lines going into it. It's a big rusty mess.

What is it and what's it gonna cost me?

This might be the end for this beater....

That would be EBTCM. There are different configurations based on what option the car has.

I would contact Haro for a replacement, its super easy to swap out

Are the lines leaking or is the Modual? Make sure you use Line wrenches to remove the lines to prevent them from stripping. Not just a regular open ended wrench.

I just gave it a good look. It's not the module leaking. One of the lines has rusted through and is spewing fluid out of a crack everytime you press the pedal. It's squirting on the exhaust manifold so that would explain the smoke.

All the lines are extremely rusted on this car. To be safe and do it right, all the lines really need to be replaced.

This is the end for this car. She's pretty much done (at least for me). I'm putting it on CL tonight. Too much effort to fix given all the other things that need to be done on it. Plus, I've already been talking about finding something different.

So, if anyone's interested, make me an offer for it.

I don't want an SE, even though I could probably fix it for $20 plus my time.
