the front strut bolts should just be slid in. soak some Wd40 or some PB blaster on it and put the nut on the end to protect the tip (flange side out) of the bolt and give it a good wack with a mallet or hammer, it should slide out. old bolts are a bitch some times esp if you live in a wet climate. IIRC they have ridges on the head side of the bolt to deep them held in place so they can be stuck in there pretty good.
If they are locktited in there might wanna take a little torch and heat up the bolt where the glue is. if you use a metal hammer and hit real hard you might jack up the nut, so be preparied to run to a slavage yard for a replacement... never had one get smashed up beyone use but i live in colorado where nothing rusts.
this might help:

kinda like these: (note, when reinstalling them, don't pound them in if you don't have to.. a little lube and the nut will draw them in to place... also you will want an alignment after this is done to get correct Toe settings)

The bolts are splined. Put the nut back on and pound them out with a big hammer.

thanks guys, yeah that what I did after I youtubed it. I wasn't sure if i really needed to change them or not until I got them out. they pushed all the way down and wouldn't come back up. whole job cost me 120 bucks, not bad. Hope it fixed the slight vibration I developed.
