Wax and car shampoo but not regular stuff!

Got dodo juice orange crush soft wax 250 ml supposed to be really good for warm metallic's. reds, oranges, etc etc. (smells like oranges which is awesome)

ordered the car shampoo they sell called dodo juice born to be mild supposed to be ph neutral so its a very wax friendly shampoo (smells like grapes which is also awesome)

so far i have been using auto glym wax from crappy tire, works extremely well at getting rid of scratches and being easy to apply shines pretty nicely but i lust after the perfect shine so i saved up for some expensive stuff (dodo juice) well see how she shines when the weather gets warm.

i'll have some pictures of the stuff soon or you can google their website and check it out , expensive stuff and they are from the uk so ebay is the easiest way to get it here cheap. everyone seems to love their stuff and swear by it, they make a bunch a different waxes that are almost all colour specific.

Dodo Juice is supposed to be some good stuff, I haven't tried it yet though. I still have a bunch of Pinnacle Souveran and Wolfgang Fuzion waxes as well as Meguiar's #21 2.0 sealant.

Honestly, a $10 wax will look better on a well prepped car then a $100 (or even $50,000 for that matter) wax on a car that hasn't been polished to remove the swirls and scratches.

Polish first to get your paint perfect then apply nice expensive wax, otherwise really you are wasting money on more expensive waxes. To take it even a little further then that, even with my paint polished to perfection, I can't see any difference between $100 Souveran or Fuzion compared to $8,000 Zymol Royale (another detailer sent me a sample of his)

cars has already been polished no swirl marks here ! your probably right about the 100$ wax looking just as good as that 8000$ stuff you mentioned however going from a brand like autoglym that produces mass amounts of product to mass consumers for cheap, the dodo juice im sure will be a better wax considering there a small company out of the uk in it for the car guys not the money ( you can even apply it bare hand)!

also noticed you have a 82 cutty ? is it a supreme ? check out my 81 calais with a 350 sbc 4bolt main its been bored out and built with a mild street cam, performer intake , longtubes and stock gearing !! 2.29's open diff all day hahaha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZkTjIOn1h8

I almost bought a tub of souveran, but went with opti seal and nattys blue for less money.

haven't heard much about souveran any good?

As long as no swirls then you will get your money out of a nice wax

your car is beautiful i think the earlier years with the split tail lights are the best looking ones, ours is leaking every possible fluid atm and the *dang* rear engine seal went halfway through winter so its going to be fun getting her back on the road. its only got around 120.000 km on the body and the motor has around 10k it was my grandfathers car back in 81 two tone red/silver with the 15 wire wheels car was made in quebec iirc, it was a garage queen and a weekend summer car and it has handed itself down the family. Until me and my dad decided to give it some proper tlc around ten years ago, its just been a very lengthy and on going process, but these g body's are a real head turner and a great platform to go wild with as you probably know

I purchased a container of the Dodo Juice Purple Haze last year and like it a lot. Very easy on and easy off. Leaves an astounding finish that protects well. I use it on my black Tacoma. I actually put a coat on last week when the temp hit 58 degres with no problems.

i did a chemical guys polish and then followed with some autoglym sealant then a coat of orange crush dodo, the shine is insane , to bad living in ontario the weather is very unpredictable it decided to rain 2 days after the beading was beautiful but alas its dirty again but i got some of their ph neutral shampoo think its called born to be mild its purple and it doesn't take off wax great stuff ! i can only recommend the dodo products very high quality product.
