Side note, i am trying to find a car for my fiance who currently has a 2000 ford Taurus with multiple problems which will most likely die soon (misfire cylinder 1, coolant leak somewhere..., windshield washer lines not working, rear sway bar bracket broken, rear struts shot, transmission slipping, speedometer fails to work in addition to not being able to go past first gear, fuel pump going etc...)

Neon painted engine components has the distinct ring of a high school kid who thinks he is Vin Diesel.
For me, seeing painted headlights, engine components, different wheels, etc on a old car that might not be in great condition/needs work is alarming. It screams Grandma gave me her old car, I tried to make it cool and then beat the crap out of it for 6 months until Mom and Dad decided to get me a Civic. (I've got nothing against modifying a car...these are just the stereotypical 1st modifications every 16 year old in America does without great results).
Seems like a lot of money/work has gone into this car just as the owner decided to sell....to only own the car since the summer and put that much work into it only to sell it a few months later seems odd to me.

Just go take a look at it, but I must agree.. Seeing all that painted stuff kinda throws me off.

I'd be extremely leery of the engine. Read the PS on the listing. - BC

I am thinking this too. I would see a lot of those parts being replaced on a 18 year old car that is sitting a lot. Miles that low only add to that suspicion. Also figure that if an old couple loafs an engine around all of it's life, and a kid jumps in and goes straight to WOT, it's my understanding there is the risk of wrecking piston rings. Usually a smoking 3800 is not a good sign either.
Whoever did that to that car though must be blind. Not only do those rims not work, but the tinting looks dumb on the headlights, and what is up with those colors? Jokes on him with the vent shades however, I can tell you, they just don't add anything at all

If it doesn't have any body rot it may be worth it... Not sure if that is a Limited or a custom..
But its a 95... That would be the one and only year with the Freak L27.. Only question is if it runs good and drives good..
This engine uses the series II oil pan and gasket, also uses the 2170 Series II crank, has powered metal forged main caps... 9.0 : 1 compression, roller pivot rocker( no friction due to it using roller bearings ).... Its just an odd one off motor... Only the 95 Lesabre and the 95 Vans got this motor...
I'd say you'd have to go look at it... Now is it a Custom, Limited, Dyna Ride or Grand Touring ... Could be an interesting H body..
Almost forgot, you most likely will want a spare PCM for this car...lol
